Having only previously seen Foster's "Heretic's Gate" piece at last years Hell's Half Acre show, it was fantastic to see more work from the artist. His work really struck a chord with me on two levels - firstly in his use of visual nods to far future science fiction pop culture (I think it's safe to say that Foster is a Giger fan), and secondly in his incorporation of subtle optical illusion to draw the viewer into the works.
